Why this project exists.

The Synagogue Project began with a question: what if the places marked only by plaques and abstract monuments could be remembered in three dimensions—and someday serve Jewish communities again?

This independent project is in its founding stage. Its purpose is to catalogue, educate, and ultimately build the partnerships required for reconstruction.
